Indoor range for handguns and .22 caliber rifles.

Location.

The range is located in upper Bidwell Park between Horseshoe Lake and the Golf Course.

The range is open to the public every Wednesday night from 7 pm to 9 pm all year.
The range is open on Saturday from 9 am to 11 am.
Hours are subject to change in the summer months.
Range fees. $5.00 per session. $2.50 for members.

The range can also be opened by appointment for unschedueled events.
Please contact the Club President.

Shooters provide their own gear.
Eye and ear protections is required!
Muzzle velocity must not exceed 1200 fps.
No high powered rifles, shotguns, black powder or mangnum loads what so ever!
Airguns and .22 cal. rifles can also be fired.
The distance is 50 feet and targets are provided.

Chico Rod and Gun Club has many Certified Instuctors and Range Safety Officers.

Tuesday Daytime Practice: Open to the public 2^nd & 4^th Tuesday 11am to 1pm

Tuesday Jr. Rifle Small Bore: Junior’s meets Tuesday evenings. Registration is last Tuesday of October at 7PM. first Tuesday in November until the last Tuesday in March

Junior Rifle Safety Classes: 1^st Saturday in September & 1^st Saturday in October $10.00 fee 8am-5pm

Wednesday: Open year round to the public 7-9PM Range open to handguns and .22 cal. Rifles. No Magnum loads. Range Fees: Members $3.00 & Non $5.00 Thursday Adult Small Bore Rifle or Pistol Leagues: November to April: Adult Small bore rifle competition 7-10pm (league fee $25.00 due at sign up)

Pistol Leagues: Spring league: 3^rd Tuesday in April to 2^nd Tuesday of May 6-10PM Summer League 2^nd Tuesday in June to 2^nd Tuesday in August 6-10pm Fall/Winter leagues: 2^nd Sunday of October to 1^st Sunday in January 6-10pm

Friday: 1^st & 3^rd Friday 6pm. Concealed Carry Weapons permit qualification. Range Fees $20.00 Instruction fees $20.00 Add up to 3 additional guns $20.00 Range Fee

Adult Rifle Breakfast Practice: Friday’s 6am Range fees: Members $3.00 Non $5.00

2^nd Saturday: of the month Club clean up 9am volunteers needed!!!

Saturday: 2^nd & 4^th Saturday Concealed Carry Weapons permit qualification. 4:00-8:00pm by appointment only. Call 530-533-0707 please leave message.

1800 Pistol Match: 3^rd Saturday of each month at 9am (open to non-members $20.00 Range fee), Members $15.00
