  • Fall Pistol League




    Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great summer.
    I wanted to remind you, that fall league sign ups are just around the corner.
    They are Sunday Oct 30th. Starting at 5:30.

    This year, the parks will be locking the gate early. so unless we get a key, the league will be starting earlier than normal. Maybe 5:00.
    It depends on how many relays we have (how many shooters we have).
    I'll know more in a week.

    Planned format is 6 person teams shooting 2 - 30round relays each night. For seven weeks.
    The best 4 scores in each relay count for the team score.
    Make-up relays are encouraged, they count for individual awards, but not for team scores.
    We need enough teams to do it this way. If attendance is too low, we may need to change this.

    We will break for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
    Cost is $35 per person for the league and $35 per team sponsor.
    I will be making the schedule based on the Sign-ups.
    If you can't make it but want to shoot, please email me so I can get an accurate head count.
    We will have trophies and an awards ceremony night after the league.
    I hope you can all make it and please forward this to anyone I missed.

  • Summer Pistol League



    Hi all,
    Thanks to you for making this last spring league such a success.

    Last night at awards, we decided to shoot an individual 900, that's 90 rounds for those that haven't participated in one yet.
    There will be two relays. a 6:30 and a 7:30 relay.
    League will go 8 weeks from July 19th through September 6th.
    The best 6 of 8 count for the season awards.

    The first night, July 19th will have a match that counts. with less than 24 entries, why have everyone make a special trip just to sign up.

    Entry fee for the season is $35.

    We will be assigning relays, so if you want to shoot, but can't make the first night, email me your information so we can reserve a slot for you.
    Relays will be similar to regular league in that people assigned to a relay have preference on that relay.
    However, they are welcome to shoot the other relay provided there is space available.

  • Spring Pistol League


    Spring Bulls-Eye Pistol League.


    I just wanted to remind you all that we will be having the awards night:
    Time - Tuesday the 21st at 6:30pm.
    Location - Mt. Mikes Pizza at 5th Street and Walnut (hwy 32)
    I hope you can all make it for some food and maybe an adult beverage.
    I plan to pre-order some pizza for that night.
    Please RSVP to me so I can get a head count.

    The preliminary results from the last week of the league are posted.
    Note that for those of you missing one or more relays, your season average will be incorrect.
    I go back and manually correct that on a different print out.
    I'll publish that after this weekend.

    Spring Warm Up

    Hi everyone,
    I hope you all enjoyed the Superbowl as much as I did. Go Packers!

    This Sunday Feb 13th we are starting a new league to fill the calendar until the regular start of the spring team league.
    The start time is 5:00.

    The new format. It will be an individual 900 (meaning 9 targets, 90 shots, or 900 possible points).
    It will be handicapped like golf or bowling so that everyone has an equal chance to win.
    The winner will be the one that betters their average by the most points.

    Each week is it's own match. this means there is no penalty for missing a week and we will have more winners.
    The league will only cost club members $25 instead of the usual $35 and will run for 8 weeks.

    Because the match is handicapped, you can shoot that pistol you want to improve your skills with.

    Everyone at the awards meeting is planning to shoot their centerfire for the 30 round national match and their 22 for the other 60 rounds.
    If you want to shoot all 22 or all centerfire, that is ok too and will not hurt your chances to win.

    The winners will be given their prizes weekly.
    The prizes will be CASH!

    Spread the word to those who are not in my computer.
